Joep Bruins
Joep Bruins joined ING trust in 2005 combining the roles of CFO
of ING Trust with the role of CFO of the ING International Private
Banking business line. Prior to this Joep held various finance and
audit positions mainly in the financial services industry. Within
OrangeField Joep combined his role of CFO with various other
responsibilities, amongst others the position of Managing Director
of the Luxembourg office and Director of the client accounting
teams in the Dutch office. Joep initiated the management buy out
from ING Group together with Floris Nijland in 2006. After the
divestment from ING Group and subsequent rebranding to OrangeField
Joep was appointed Managing Director of OFT Holding followed by the
appointment as Group CEO by the end of 2008. Joep holds a Master of
Science degree in industrial engineering and management science
from Eindhoven Technical University and an Executive Master degree
in Finance and Controlling from Erasmus University
Rotterdam.
Martijn Leenaers
Martijn Leenaers is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a
background in auditing of financial service companies and real
estate companies with the Big4 in The Netherlands. After leaving
the public profession in 2008 Martijn continued his career as CFO
of the European business of a global Real Estate firm that also had
a Trust License from the Dutch Central Bank. Martijn combined the
CFO role with directorships in the operating companies focused on
Real Estate Management services, Trust Services and the Baltic
offices in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. He joined Orangefield in
May 2011 as CFO. He is responsible for Financial Management and IT.
Martijn also holds a Master in Real Estate at the Amsterdam School
of Real Estate.
Guido Wagenaar
Guido Wagenaar joined Orangefield Group in 2012 as Global Head
of Business Development. His objectives at Orangefield Group
include shaping the company's long-term business development goals
and strategy and to supervise and support the firm's commercial
directors. Guido has over a decade of management and business
development experience in the international financial service
industry for a major financial institution. Since 2001, he
has managed third-party assets across a broad range of sectors and
geographic areas for private equity firms, hedge funds, banks,
international corporations, sovereign wealth funds and high net
worth individuals. Guido holds a LL.M Master of Law degree from the
University of Amsterdam.
Frederik Bernoski
Frederik Bernoski joined Orangefield 1 January 2011 as general
counsel. In this role Frederik is responsible for inter alia
corporate housekeeping, legal documentation, M&A and risk and
compliance. Frederik started his career as a lawyer with
NautaDutilh where he specialized in structured finance transactions
in the Amsterdam and the New York office of NautaDutilh. After 6
years with NautaDutilh Frederik became a business developer with
Intertrust in New York and senior relationship manager in
Amsterdam. During his time with Intertrust Frederik focused mainly
on structured finance transactions with Latin American clients and
securitization transactions in the Netherlands. Frederik hold a
LL.M Master in Laws from the Rotterdam Erasmus
University.
Michel van Krimpen
After graduating from the University of Amsterdam in 1995 with a
Law Degree, Michel began his career with a global financial
services company where he held senior positions in various
jurisdictions. During his career Michel specialised in providing
global corporate and administration services for private equity and
real estate funds and was on the board of various investment funds
and general partners. He joined Orangefield in 2009 to head up the
Luxembourg office. Michel holds a MBA from the Rotterdam School of
Management.
Leonie Jongsma
Leonie Jongsma, Managing Director of our Amsterdam office, holds
master degrees in Netherlands' and International Law, from the
University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After her
graduation, Leonie started her career as Corporate Lawyer of Intra
Beheer, the trust company of Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam, in
1992. In 2001, Intra Beheer was merged into ING Trust where Leonie
became Manager Business Department and was responsible for the
legal merger of the two Dutch legal entities. In the following
years Leonie dedicated a lot of her time to the amalgamation of two
different cultures, two different client bases and two different
methods of working which ultimately resulted in the transition of
one well-balanced organization into Orangefield Trust in 2007. In
2003, Leonie also extended her legal expertise to Tax Law through a
master degree from the University of Tilburg, the
Netherlands. Leonie was appointed Managing Director of the
Amsterdam office in 2008.
