Joep Bruins, CEO Orangefield Group
Joep Bruins joined the company - then ING Trust - in 2005, combining the roles of CFO of ING Trust with the role of CFO of the ING International Private Banking business line. Joep initiated the management buyout from ING Group together with Floris Nijland in 2006. After the divestment from ING Group and subsequent rebranding to Orangefield Group, Joep was appointed Group CEO by the end of 2008. Joep holds a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering and management science from Eindhoven Technical University and an Executive Master degree in Finance and Controlling from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Martijn Leenaers, CFO Orangefield Group
Martijn Leenaers joined Orangefield Group in May 2011 as CFO. At Orangefield, Martijn is responsible for Financial Management and IT. Before joining Orangefield, Martijn was CFO of the European business of a global Real Estate firm that also had a Trust License from the Dutch Central Bank. Martijn combined the CFO role with directorships in the operating companies focused on Real Estate Management services, Trust Services and the Baltic offices in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. He has a background as a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Big Four in The Netherlands and holds a Master in Real Estate at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
Guido Wagenaar, Global Head Business Development Orangefield Group
Guido Wagenaar joined Orangefield Group in 2012 as Global Head of Business Development. At Orangefield, Guido´s objectives include shaping the company's long-term business development goals and strategy and offering supervision and support to the firm's commercial directors. Guido has over a decade of management and business development experience in the international financial service industry for a major financial institution. Since 2001, he has managed third-party assets across a broad range of sectors and geographic areas for private equity firms, hedge funds, banks, international corporations, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals. Guido holds a LL.M Master of Law degree from the University of Amsterdam.
Frederik Bernoski, General Counsel Orangefield Group
Frederik Bernoski joined Orangefield in January 2011 as general counsel. In this role Frederik is responsible for inter alia corporate housekeeping, legal documentation, M&A and risk and compliance. Frederik started his career as a lawyer with NautaDutilh where he specialized in structured finance transactions in the Amsterdam and the New York office of NautaDutilh. After 6 years with NautaDutilh Frederik became a business developer with Intertrust in New York and senior relationship manager in Amsterdam. During his time with Intertrust Frederik focused mainly on structured finance transactions with Latin American clients and securitization transactions in the Netherlands. Frederik holds a LL.M Master in Laws from the Rotterdam Erasmus University.
Leonie Jongsma, Managing Director Orangefield Amsterdam
Leonie Jongsma was appointed Managing Director of the Amsterdam office in 2008. She started her career as Corporate Lawyer of Intra Beheer in 1992. In 2001, Intra Beheer was merged into ING Trust where Leonie became Manager Business Department and was responsible for the legal merger of the two Dutch legal entities. In the following years Leonie dedicated a lot of her time to the amalgamation of the two different companies, which was ultimately followed by a healthy joined transition into Orangefield in 2007. Leonie holds master´s degrees in Dutch and International Law, from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2003 she extended her legal expertise to Tax Law through a master degree from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands.
Vincent Bremmer, Managing Director Asia, Corporate Services
Vincent Bremmer was appointed Managing Director of Orangefield Hong Kong in 2010 and is responsible for the group’s overall strategy to target further expansion in Asia. Vincent began his career in 2000 with Intra Beheer, a company that merged in 2001 with ING Trust which later became Orangefield. He always had a strong focus on- and interest in the Asia market; he established the Asia Desk in the Amsterdam office to provide customer support for Asian clients. He is experienced in corporate- and tax structuring for multinationals, private clients and investment funds.
Onno Bouwmeister, Managing Director Luxembourg
Onno Bouwmeister was appointed Managing Director of the Luxembourg office in 2012. At Orangefield, he has regional responsibility for Luxembourg and the Channel Islands. Onno has been working at Orangefield since January 2008, when he started as Principal Relationship Manager in the Luxembourg office. Onno is experienced in corporate and tax structuring for multinationals and alternative investment funds with a strong focus on the Private Equity and Real Estate sector. He is a qualified lawyer, previously admitted to the bar in the Netherlands. Onno holds a master degree in Economic Public and Corporate Law from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands.
